One Day Last Week

 

On the holiday last week we had the opportunity to host four friends for the day, some who we don’t play with often due to school.  It was a chilly day, but not enough to deter the zip liners in the crowd.  Most of the afternoon however, was spent by the three girls deep in craft, the two older boys deep in hip hop, and the little boys alternating between spy, Lego, books, and the swivel car.  At the end of the day, as the moms arrived to gather children we all visited over tea and knitting, and it was so much like our old days of preschool play dates that it felt like time travel.
